Welcome to the Martin Kinnear Studio — a contemporary atelier for serious painters who want structure, rigour, and originality. Led by Royal College of Art trained artist Martin Kinnear, our programmes combine the discipline of traditional training with the freedom of modern practice, helping you master technique, build confidence, and develop a distinctive voice in today’s language of art. Classes are taught in oil and intended to be followed with bodied paints such as oil or acrylic, however most techniques are also directly applicable to painting in any media.
