About the Event

Monet's late paintings tremble on the verge of abstraction, as his art dissolved into profgressively looser and more expressive studies which celebrate light and colour.  More touching even, than his famous water lillies, Monet's last studies show the dazzling technique of an master still exploring the reach of his artistic vision as his life drew to a close.
